  • Mission

As our world evolves, new technologies become increasingly part of the basic ways that social and professional living is accomplished. The lack of accessibility segregates disabled people from the community. The current accessibility solutions available to people with severe physical disabilities are expensive, and have to be custom fitted in most cases. Also, the absence of socialization may be detrimental to those suffering the disability. Our Services based on an electroencephalogram acquiring helmet; provides computer control. It helps increasing the socialization of people having difficulties to use their body language and to convey their emotions. More specifically the project is designed to better assist those with quadriplegia, cerebral palsy, locked-in syndrome, and similar disabilities. A future goal of the project is to expand its usability to any computer controlled domotic application in any household

  • Brain Computer Interface

    Human Computer Interaction
Brain-Computer Interface represented for long, a minor field in Human-Computer Interaction. With the recent developments in this domain, research interest has picked up, and since 2001, several scientist came together to make significant advances in the field.
A challenge in the HCI research is to benefit directly from the human nervous activity to provide the users with a better experience. Brain-Computer Interface is nothing less than the ultimate form of Human Computer interaction, where there is no more interference layer between the human and the machine. The day when we no longer need a screen to interact with a computer is not nigh, and there will be with no doubt several intermediary steps before reaching this day.

The process of using human mental state into the configuration of interfaces is known as Neuroergonomics and is intended to use knowledge of human behavior to optimize the design of safer, more efficient work environments(Parasuraman, Christensen et al. 2012). Human behavior can be detected using different technologies like MEG, PET, SPECT, fMRI, fNIR; but in comparison to other modalities table EEG shows to be optimal because it has high temporal resolution, it is portable and has low cost(Tan and Nijholt 2010). Additionally EEG has demonstrated to accurately reflect subtle shifts in alertness, attention and workload that can be identified and quantified on a second-by second time-frame (Berka, Levendowski et al. 2007).

  • Mindwave Mobile

    Mindwave Mobile Neurosky

    MindWave Mobile: MyndPlay Bundle
Designed in Silicon Valley by the world’s leading innovator of brainwave technology, the new MindWave Mobile headset is evolved for today’s mobile user. It is compatible with Apple iOS products, including iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and Android phones and tablets. And you can double your use of the MindWave Mobile with Mac and PC compatibility.
Also, another 5 bonus apps for PC/Mac are included: Brainwave Visualizer, Man.Up, ZombiePop, Meditation Journal, and the MindWave Tutorial.

MindWave Mobile is the world’s least expensive research-grade EEG headset available. Designed for interface with mobile devices (iOS and Android) and desktop (Win and Mac), it can be used with a wide variety of games, braintraining and education applications. Its clear brainwave signal is based on the TGAM, the bio-sensor chipset that revolutionized an industry. It is an excellent introduction into the world of brain-computer interface (BCI).

The MindWave Mobile safely measures and outputs the EEG power spectrums (alpha waves, beta waves, etc), NeuroSky eSense meters (attention and meditation) and eye blinks. The device consists of a headset, an ear-clip, and a sensor arm. The headset’s reference and ground electrodes are on the ear clip and the EEG electrode is on the sensor arm, resting on the forehead above the eye (FP1 position). It uses a single AAA battery with 8 hours of battery life.

  • Mindball

    Novelquest Mindball

    Mindball Novelquest
At first glance, Mindball seems similar to a traditional two player game - two people challenge one another and take their respective positions at each end of a table that is laid out with two goals and a little ball. The rest of the game’s equipment is more special.
Both players wear a headband with electrodes wired up to a biosensor system. This system, that is used to measure the body’s biological signals, is tightly fastened to the frontal lobes and registers the electrical activity of the brain - the so called EEG.

The players’ brain activity is graphed in a diagram and displayed on a monitor so that the public can easily follow the players’ mental processes during the match. The brain waves that move the ball forward, increasing the chance of victory, are called Alpha and Theta waves. They are generated by the brain when one is calm and relaxed. A considerably stressed player will therefore lose.

In this way, Mindball is an exciting and social game where the audience can follow the match by watching the ball on the table, the graph on the display/monitor and the more or less relaxed expressions of the players.

  • Our Targeted Segments

    Rehabilitation Centers
Rehabilitation centers can benefit from the BCI technology to improve the lives of patients by giving them a way to diversify and by advancing research on rehabilitation programs linked to brain interfaces. In addition they can request cutom made applications designed for different uses according to their needs. Eg games to help patients with ADHD, systems bells triggered by thought, surveillance systems for the patient emotional states.

    Quadriplegics and similar handicaps
Quadriplegics; an ill targeted population with new technologies that are expensive, hard to install and maintain; can benefit now from our BCI devices that help them communicate with their social environment and improve their daily lives. Controling a TV, lights, doors and other domotic appliances as well as showing emotions, can be made easier for the impaired.

    Orthopedic equipment stores
Orthopedic equipment stores are interested in larger purchases and stock acquisition. We have resellers agreements that help us distribute in this segment and communicate BCI products to the store clientelle.
